2007 Open CANADIAN CHAMPIONS!

Festival Junior: A team comprised of 12-16 skaters. There is no upper age limit. The program follows the junior competitive free program rules and must be 4.0 minutes in length.

There are no test requirements for this category. Most skaters at this level are at a Sr. Bronze or higher test level.

Campers- Follow the campers while they endure all of the 'hardships' of camp - mosquitoes, bears, wolves, campfires and fun campsongs!

Festival Novice: A team of 8-16 skaters. Seventy-five per cent may not have reached the age of 15 years and 25 per cent may not have reached the age of 19 years, as of July 1st preceding the competition. Program must be 3.5 minutes in length.

There are no test requirements for this category. Most skaters at this level are at a Jr. Bronze or higher test level.

 


2008 REGIONAL BRONZE MEDALLISTS!

 

 

Festival Juvenile: A team comprised of 8-16 skaters. Seventy-five per cent may not have reached the age of  12 years and 25 per cent may not have reached the age of 15 years, as of July 1st preceding the competition. Program must be 3.0 minutes in length.

There are no test requirements for this category. Most skaters at this level are at a Preliminary or higher test level. Skaters should be able to do cross cuts forwards and backwards and have a knowledge of 3 turns and mohawks. All turns will be taught to the skaters and practiced regularly! New turns will be learned along with all of the new synchro skills.

History: The Juvenile Team has won a medal at the last 4 Regional Championships and are the current Regional Bronze Medallists!

This is an opportunity to come and learn what synchro is all about; learn new turns and have some fun!
